Cloonacool Gaa Guestbook

Carndonagh
Actually Marian, the second half was actually played off the pitch in the pub. We more than held our own there. If we ever do win anything we will have no worries with the celebrations

Carndonagh
Really enjoyed the pics and from all reports a good time was had by all. Rumour has it that Cloonacool won the second half of the event - must have been for the consumption of the refreshments - cannot figure what else it could be!.

Dinner Venue
I wholeheartedly recommend the back of Martin Mc's car as a dinner venue for any occasion not just on route to soccer or G.A.A. matches. The service, entertainment and views are exceptional. The quality and quantity of food however is largely dependent on how much you can carry and how much warning Martin gives before arriving at the door. If you're still in bed when he arrives you're likely to go hungry. I was particularly fond of the vintage 79 ford fiesta venue where the aroma of petrol fumes only enhanced the entire culinary experience.

Carndonagh Trip
Well done Brian on organising the trip, seems to have gone off very well. Sorry I couldnt be there - went to Dublin to collect a Triple Crown. When I played the closer we left the dinner to the match the better we played. Ask any of the Carty's they often had the dinner in the back of my car on the way to the match!! Enjoy the site - good work.

Trip to Carndonagh
Enjoyed the report and pictures from the recent trip to Carndonagh. Seems to have been a really nice occasion albeit in very sad circumstances. Well done to all who made the trip, it was a lovely gesture and appreciated by the family.
Website is great. Keep up the good work

Directions for race
Fergus, I think that was a deliberate ploy by Gerry Carty to confuse his competition! I have corrected this so everyone should be on the start line on time. Nice try Gerry!!

Directions for race
Hi Brian directions to pitch for 5k race are slightly wrong. You would have to turn right at the village not left as it says. Its also wrong on Sligogaa website. Will have to do a bit of training not to embarrass myself!!

david leonard
I would just like to respond to the slanderous comment about david leonard. it was clear for all to see that terrible day in kilcoyne that a heavy rain soaked pitch took away david leonards electrifying pace and skill. the real reason david leonard came off was because of a john mcvann injury. a john mcvann injury affects a player mentally and usually rules a player out for two to three months. this injury can be brought on in cold or wet conditions.
