The men\'s team suffered a 2 point defeat against St Michaelís at home. There was very little between team but away side were more clinical in front of goal. Best wishes to James Lawrence who suffered what looks like a serious knee injury. The final score was 14 points to 12. Team lined out: Niall Brennan, Ciaran McIntyre, Niall McCarrick, Kevin Gallagher, James Lawrence, Padraig Murtagh, Joe Neary, Fergus Leonard, Gerard Mullarkey, Jason Brennan, Damien Sweeney, Jordan Brennan, John McVann, Hughie Marren. Subs Ronan Leonard, James Armstrong, Michael Henry. Minors beat Coolera Strandhill on Friday evening. They are away to St Farnans on Friday next. U-16\'s lost to Eastern Harps 2-13 to 3-3 in round 6 of the league. Good battling performance minus a number of regulars. U12 training 7-8 Wednesday and 6:30-7:30 Friday. Next game on 24 may against St John\'s in stenson park. U 6 8 10 play St Pats on Wednesday evening in community park. Open evening with sligo senior teams on Tuesday evening in scarden. Also a reminder that the club is gearing up for a big weekend to mark the celebrations of the centenary. The centenary book has being finished and will be launched on Friday 27 of May and a full programme on Saturday the 28th of May. Tickets for main celebrations on Saturday night are on sale now from Fergus Leonard, Geraldine Conboy and Brid Calvey. This will take place in a specially erected marquee at the community centre.
