The Club’s next action in the Junior Championship will be against Geevagh in Round 2. Following their defeat to St John’s in Round 1 the team hope to bounce back to winning ways thus igniting the Championship hopes. Congratulations to Club players John McVann and James Armstrong on their recent marriages to Sinead Canny, Dunmore, Co Galway and Sandra Boyers. Both John and James have served the Club well over the years.Congrats to Cloonacool Community Centre on their family fun walk recently. Over the years the Community Centre was helpful to the Club both on Match days and for Club Meetings. Every success is wished to them as they revamp the facilities.The Club sends get well wishes to Club Chairman, Fr Dan o’Mahony who is in Hospital at the moment. Get well wishes are also sent to another man Michael Davitt,who represented the Club in Scor down the years. Both men had recent stents in Hospital. Well don to Easkey-St Farnan’s Hurlrs and winning Division 5 in the Bus Eireann Feile na nGael in Dublin recently. On the same weekend Sligo Camogie also had a team involved. Among the team was two local girls, Sisters Kate and Tara Carty from Ballyglass. Sympathy is extended to Ray and Patricia Kilcoyne & family on the passing of Patricia’s mother Nancy Rice recently.Anyone wishing to have notes included please drop them to the usual contacts
