They play St Molaise Gaels in Round 3 this weekend. Good luck to Sligo U-16 girls in their All Ireland Semi Final against Cavan in Killoe, Co Longford on Saturday next. The Club extends sympathy to the family of the late Marty Gilmore formally of Kilcummin, who passed away recently. The Senior team qualified for the Junior Championship Semi Finals at the weekend thanks to victory over St Molaise Gaels. The Club congratulates former player Fergus Muldoon on his recent marriage to Naomi Clarke, Charlestown. Local Ladies Club CT Gaels commenced their Championship recently with defeat to Curry. Hard luck to 2 Sligo Ladies teams who suffered defeats at the weekend in Longford. On this Friday 24 Aug, our Senior Team will play Coolera/Strandhill in the Junior Championship Semi Final. The game has an 8.30pm throw in with Tourlestrane being the venue. The Club is asking all Gaels in the area to come out and support the Lads as the Club bids to reach a first Championship Final at adult level since 1997.
